WorkforceTrack is differentiated by integrated performance appraisal tool -- simple 3-step employees assessment and performance management tool.
Step 1 - Initiate assessment. First thing you might want to start with is to initiate actual asssesment. Go to "Initiate Assessment" tab, select assessment template and employee you want to appraise and click "Save" button.
Assessment can also run/start automatically in a given periods. All you need to do is to schedule assessments under "Schedule Performance Appraisals" tab. (Have a look at "How to schedule performance appraisal" for more details)
Please note that there are "i" icons next to each field that give quick description regarding that field. Just bring your mouse over them to see help.
Step 2 - Review assessment. Once you initiate employee assessment, you will be able to track it through "View status reports" tab.
○ If you are employee:
§ Press "Review" to view assessment details
§ Press "Complete review" to send report
§ Press "Save and Close" to save report details
§ Press "View" to see details of approved assessment
○ If you are manager:
§ Press "Rate" to see assessment details
§ Press "Complete rate" to send rated assessment to employee
§ Press "Rate and Approve" to approve assessment
§ Press "Save and close" to save reviewed assessment
§ Press "View" to see details of approved assessment
Ping pong # column shows status of each assessment
Once the assessment initiated or resend "Arrow" sign is directed from Manager to Employee and from Employee to Manager when report is sent to Manager. Counters inside brackets show how many times employee sent report or manager initiated assessment.
Step 3 - Finalise assessment (approving stage).
Once both parties agree on assessment report, select "Approve" option from Action. "Arrow" sign, in "Ping pong #" column becomes "dot" indicating completion of assessment process.
How to Schedule Performance Appraisals
To schedule employee assessments to run periodically, go to "Schedule Performance Appraisals" tab. In there, you need to name the assessment, select template to use from templates drop down and select department(s) and/or member(s) and lastly set date of assessment initiation using months list and date drop downs.
○ To see scheduled assessments go to "Schedules" tab.
○ To view reports from periodic assessments go to "View status reports" tab
Templates
You can use default templates for assessment purposes. Templates are customisable and users can create their own templates.
Skills Set
Skills set is customisable and are added/edited in Skillset section of Backend Console. You can add skills to existing skills group or generate new skills group with customised skills set.
